How Kentucky is celebrating 80th anniversary of D-Day and the Greatest Generation

On Thursday, a World War II B-25 bomber will fly veterans at Bowman Field in Louisville for the 80th D-Day Anniversary; Lexington celebrates veterans in two events. Of the 16,000,000 men and women who served during WWII, only an estimated 100,000 remain.
