2 men, 1 woman charged in robbery, kidnapping case in Monticello

MONTICELLO, Ky. (WTVQ) — Two men and one woman were recently arrested on a slew of charges including robbery and kidnapping from a December incident.

On Dec. 29, Wayne County deputies were called to a home on Danny Flynn Road after a victim reported that three people held him hostage at knife-point and assaulted him over two hours.

On Dec. 30, the first suspect, Candace Crabtree was arrested. On Jan. 2, the other two suspects, Austin Lee and Joshua Jones were arrested.

The three are charged with the following:

• Robbery
• Kidnapping
• Theft by unlawful taking
• Criminal mischief
• Terroristic threatening
• Criminal trespassing
• Engaging in organized crime
• Assault
