After a draw against Wales earlier this week, the U.S. will battle the Brits in its next FIFA World Cup match against England Friday.

Team USA’s 1-1 tie against Wales Monday only adds to the mounting pressure as the U.S. prepares to play a much more challenging team, which should make for good viewing at several watch parties happening in Lexington.

Friday’s match starts at 2 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, and we’ve compiled this guide to where you can watch the game live.

This list isn’t exhaustive, and if you won’t be in town or just prefer to watch at home, there are other ways to watch World Cup play. Here are a few recommendations.

West Sixth Brewing

You can watch most World Cup matches on the smaller TV in the taproom, and when the U.S. is playing, staff at the brewery break out a projector to screen the game in the indoor beer garden.

West Sixth is also hosting several World Cup watch parties with local youth soccer league Lexington Sporting Club, the brewery recently announced on its Facebook account. The next watch party will take place Friday at 2 p.m. when the England vs. U.S. match kicks off.
