LFD responds to home structure fire on E. Loudon Ave.

Nearly 20 emergency crews are working to put out a structure fire on the 600 block of East Loudon Avenue.

The call came into dispatch for a working structure fire around 3:40 p.m. on Thursday afternoon. Smoke was billowing from the home and firefighters were cutting portions out of the roof with a chainsaw.

Traffic is being diverted from the area.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. According to dispatch, at least one person is being taken to a local hospital for minor burns.
