I-75 southbound shut down in Lexington KY after crash

A section of I-75 in Lexington is shut down after a multi-vehicle accident, according to the Lexington Traffic Management Center.

The accident happened in the southbound lanes near mile-marker 99. The traffic management center said multiple vehicles hydroplaned and went off the road.

Several police and fire units are on scene to investigate and clear the wreckage. There’s no initial estimate as to how long the road will be shut down.
